The 1983 Stanley Gibbons Elizabeth Catalogue only lists plates 1A (x4) & 1B (x4) and a single printing of this value. However, a plate 2A/2B exists for the black cylinder, suggesting a second printing occurred or the cylinder was replaced during the print run.

A second stye of sheet number also exists. While the first print run appears to have between 5000-5,500 sheets, the second style suggests between 3000-100,000 sheets.

It is also interesting to note that the 1B cylinder appears under the second column, rather than the first column like 2B. This suggests that the value change was set in the fifth position but later corrected for new cylinders.
