Bahamas Philately: King’s Inn and Golf Club

On 1 May 1965, the King’s Inn Hotel opened an adjoining 18‐hole championship golf course, designed by Dick Wilson. The course hosted the Grand Bahama Open between 1966-1970.

When the golf course was opened, the hotel was re-branded as the King’s Inn & Golf Club.

In 1974, Princess Properties re-named their three Grand Bahama hotels and the King’s Inn and Golf Club was re-named the Bahamas Princess.
