PUBLIC SQUARE. A view of Rawson Square in Nassau, the capital of Bahamas. The buildings shown were modelled on a group of public buildings in New Berne, the capital of North Carolina in American Colonial times. In the centre is the Parliament Building, built in 1812, with the G.P.O. on the ground floor.
