The Coral Sands and Pink Elephant Hotel was two buildings with a Spanish ambience. Opened in 1970 by Brett King, it was built atop a hill that overlooked the ocean, and was the second largest accommodation on Harbour Island. It contained the Yellow Bird Bar with a 100ft patio overlooking the sea.
The hotel was represented by RR Hotel Representatives (Div. of Robert Reid Associates Inc.).
