In 1946, Gilbert Sayward (1934-1960) opened his own advertising agency called The Fort Lauderdale Publicity Bureau in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. On 1 November 1951, the Bureau changed its name to Gil Sayward Associates.
On 17 September 1960, Gil passed away at the age of 51 after a major operation. It appears the Agency was dissolved after his death.
Postcards
The advertising agency published postcards for the new Nassau Beach Lodge in 1958 which were also used in various advertisements and brochures for the hotel. The postcards were printed by Koppel Color.
