Meikles Southern Sun Hotels (Pvt) Ltd was located in the Travel Centre, Stanley Avenue, Salisbury.
In 1971, a separate hotel company was formed in which all the existing Meikles hotels were grouped. Investment was developed by the expansion, building and modernising of the hotels.
In 1975 a mammoth joint venture under Meikles management was formed with the large Southern Sun hotel and casino group. This venture became Meikles Southern Sun Hotels.
