Rhodesia Philately: Camera Africa Safaris

Camera Africa Safaris was located in Salisbury and was established in 1972.  It was a photographic safari business run by Rob and Gretl Hughes. Rob had been a ranger in the Mana Pool National Park prior to establishing his business.

Daily driving safaris were provided at a cost of R.$2,50 per person for two hours. They also provided boat and fishing cruises on Lake Kariba.

Rob eventually sold his interests in the business in 1973 and was killed during the Bush War the same year.
