First Day Cover (Official)

First Day Covers will be available a post offices or direct from the Bureau. Residents of Rhodesia are asked to purchase their stamps and first day covers from post offices, and to post the covers in the special posting boxes that will be provided at all main centres. Special first day of issue date-stamps will be used at Bulawayo and Salisbury but ordinary hand date-stamps will be used at other centres. Covers posted in ordinary boxes will be date-stamped in the usual way. Covers requiring registration should be handed in over post office counters.
