In 1968, Marianne Dettmers Wightman was a Canadian volunteer with the National Food and Nutrition Commission. She took a photo that became the ‘healthy baby’ for one of the posters that were distributed widely throughout Zambia and Malawi. Gabriel Ellison used a drawing of the healthy baby for the 15n stamp.
