In a live meeting of the Royal Philatelic Society London, Richard Wheatley FRPSL presented a very interesting talk on the subject of the Spitfire aircraft, putting philatelic and postal history items into the context of the genesis and use of the aircraft and the aftermath following the end of World War 2.
