This fish lives among the tentacles of sea anemones, which kill their prey with numerous stinging cells which eject a poison if touched, however lightly. Yet the anemone fish can safely swim among the tentacles, feeding from scraps from the anemone’s kill. The small, brightly-coloured Amphiprion are found singly or in small schools.
