Australia Post will issue a set of four stamps on 11 August 1980 featuring Community Welfare. Each stamp has a 22c denomination and the subjects depicted are the Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Meals on Wheels, Be in it.
The stamps will be available at all post offices from 11 August 1980 for approximately six weeks. They remain on sale at philatelic sales centres until 11 August 11 August 1981, provided stocks last.

Souvenir Pack
The four stamps will be available in a souvenir pack, designed by the stamp designer, Mr. John Spatchurst, at a cost of $A1.05. Technical and background information reagrding the stamps is printed on the inside cover of the pack. The souvenir pack will be available at major post offices from 11 August 1980.
First Day Covers No.143 (Official)
One first day cover measuring 190 mm x 101 mm, numbered 143 and designed by John Spatchurst, will be provided for the issue. It will be available unserviced fro $A0.13 from 4 August 1980. The cover with the four stamps affixed and postmarked 11 August 1980, will cost $A1.01.
First day cover No. 143 will be avilable until 22 August 1980 at all first day of issue post offices, including philatelic sales centres, provided stocks last.
