In 1976, Curt Teich Industries Inc was purchased by Chicago publishing firm Regensteiner Publishing Enterprises. They continued producing postcards with the Curt Teich name until 1978.
In 1980 the Curteichcolor process and name was purchased by John Hinde Ltd. A new division was established, John Hinde Curteich Inc.
