Gleneagles Guest House was established in 1954 and was located opposite Fort Montagu Beach Hotel, a block away from Fort Montagu Beach, Nassau. Although listed as a residential club, it was considered more a guest house dormitory. The house was noted for being surrounded by orchard full of fruit trees surrounded the house.
During the 1960’s, the house was often referred to as Gleneagles House. Around 1968, it held itself out as The Gleneagles Hotel.
