The American Philatelic Society‘s Chatty awards are designed to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary Stamp Chat presentations of 2020 that highlight the best the hobby has to offer. The awards fall into seven categories:

- Connecting Philately with the Professional World
- Stamps Teach
- Creative Philately
- Digital Philately
- Cultural Philately
- Destination Philately
- Philatelic Storytelling
The winner of each category will be determined by the number of nominations they receive from viewers.
Voting for each category begins on Monday, January 11th and will close on Sunday, January 31st at 11:59 PM EST. The winners of the Chatty awards will be announced on February 4th at 6:30 PM EST. Heidi Rhoades and Graham Beck (Exploring Stamps) will host the live event streamed on the APS Facebook Page and the APS YouTube Channel.
