A Christmas aerogramme was also designed by Mr. Hamori in the woodcut style, and issued on 14th November, 1973. The aerogramme depicts Mary and the infant Jesus in an illustrated panel on the left-hand side of the address face and an angel in the stamp area.
The stamps, aerogramme and souvenir pack will remain on sale at post offices until the end of December and at philatelic sales centres for up to six months from the date of issue.
