A new set of seven definitive pre-stamped envelopes will be released by Australia Post on 8 September 1986. The theme of the series is restored public buildings, illustrating superb examples of architecture from Australia’s earlier days.
Buildings shown on the pre-stamped envelopes include examples from the Australian Capital Territory and from each Australian State.
Old Parliament House, Adelaide and Customs House, Townsville will appear on large (DL size) envelopes. The other buildings will be on the smaller (C6 size) definitive pre-stamped envelopes.
