*The four Animals series stamps issued on 13th February, 1974, were all printed on KP5D paper with gum arabic adhesive. The 20c Wombat stamp has now been reprinted on LP6T paper with PVA adhesive, using the original printing cylinders.

The main visual difference is that, in the reprint, the grey is more prominent overall, resulting in less contrast in the “stripes” on the animal’s neck and forelegs. The green is also a fraction brighter in the reprint. The is a result of the change of paper.
