Highpoint West Post Office was opened in September 1975. The office was located in the Highpoint West shopping centre, built by Development Underwriting Ltd. It was originally named “Westland” to fit in with other shopping centres but opened as “Highpoint West”. It was later renamed “Highpoint City”, and then just “Highpoint”.
