The Britannia Beach Hotel was completed in January 1969. The hotel was managed by Resorts International and was connected to Lowe’s Paradise Island Hotel & Villas and Paradise Island Casino.
The hotel provided 300 rooms for accommodation, each with dressing and bathrooms, self-dialling telephones, radio, refrigerator and two double beds. Each room also had exterior walls of glass and glass sliding doors, allowing guests to use their balcony for dining.
The hotel also provided four gourmet restaurants, and guests had access to the Paradise Island Golf Course, championship golf courses, riding stables, a marina, rental cars and indoor and outdoor sports.
