Jansel Court was an apartment complex located in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
On the 1 March 1968, the Grand Bahama Port Authority transferred land to Jansel Bahama Ltd (established in April 1964, Freeport). Nine months after the transfer, construction of Jansel Court began. The building was designed by Jean Venne.
After the construction, the units were rented as hotel-apartments offering a complete, fully serviced apartment complex using a hotel booking system with no fix contracts where occupants could “check out” whenever they wished.
On October 1, 1974, Jansel Court was submitted to the Condominium Act of ownership by Jansel Bahama Limited. The majority of condos were sold to French Canadians.
