Bahamas Philately: Post Office – Mackey Street (Nassau)

Mackey Street Post Office (P.O.) was opened 1 April 1958 as a branch P.O. under Nassau after being transferred from Shirley Street. On 15 February it became a Money Order Office.

In 1967 the office was moved to the Out Islander’s Trading building in Ernest Street, near the Potters Cay Causeway, although it retained the Mackey Street name. The new location opened 28 February 1967.
