The Silent Guns was a computer-generated sound and light spectacular held at Fort Charlotte in the style of son et lumière, and was produced on the behalf of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. The show ran daily from 9pm for 55 minutes.
The show was based on the history of the Bahamas through nine scenes which depicted the beliefs, suffering and transportation of the Arawaks, the arrival of Columbus’ Santa Maria, and the country’s growth.
The show appears to have run from late 1968 to early 1970.
