In 1963, Eastern Steamship Line sold the SS Yarmouth to the Chadade Steamship Company, Panama, which formed a new subsidiary line, Yarmouth Cruise Line.
Following the disaster of her sister-ship related to safety issues, the SS Yarmouth, was retired in 1966.
