The Caledonian Philatelic Society presents three short displays on Fiji. Firstly the pre-Colonial issues, of 1870 -1874, including forgeries, errors, overprints and re-prints; secondly the launch of a new, sponsored, stamp issue in February of this year; and lastly a display on Fiji’s trains, largely used to transport the sugar cane harvest from the fields to the mills, as initially shown on the 1956 pictorial definitive issue and then two subsequent commemorative issues.
