The Pumpkin ladybird beetle, (Henosepilachna elaterii) is a phytophagous ladybird species found in southern Europe, Africa and western Asia. It feeds mainly on squirting cucumber, but also on other cultivated or spontaneous Cucurbitaceae plants.
