Reading Stamp Collectors Club President, Philatelic Society of Lancaster County Member and philatelic friend, David Hunt shares his study entitled “The Half-a-Presentation.” This was inspired by “The Half-A-Collection” exhibited by Clyde Jennings.
His presentation is a brief survey of the U.S. 1/2-cent stamps. Between 1925 and 1959, the U.S. Post Office Department issued ten different stamps denominated 1/2-cent, divided equally between definitive stamps and postage due stamps. The “Half-A-Program” includes a look at the 1/2-cent stamps of the Canal Zone.
