The 2/6d stamp shows a Central African Airways ‘Viscount’ airliner standing on the apron of the Salisbury air terminal building. The official photograph shows the aircraft as being ‘VP-YND Mweru’, and the time on the airport clock as 8.35 on a sunny morning.
