The Car Mart (Rhodesia) (Pvt) Ltd was located in Bulawayo. The holding company was formed in 1954 when The Car Mart Ltd, the Austin distributors for London, accquired Proctor’s Garage Ltd, Broken Hill, and Neill Motors Ltd, Bulawayo, and their respective branches.
