Rhodesia & Nyasaland Philately: Rhodes Inyanga National Park

The Rhodes Inyanga National Park was one of the oldest in Southern Rhodesia. It was originally established through a bequest from Cecil Rhodes from the Rhodes Nyanga Estate and in 1926 it was transformed into the Rhodes Inyanga National Park.

The park contained Southern Rhodesia’s highest waterfall, Mtazari Falls which fell in the Hondi Valley and an a number of national monuments.

The park also offered facilities such as trout fishing and fish ponds, and an orchard.
