Rhodesian Acceptance Ltd was located on the ground floor of Charter House on Selbourne Avenue, Salisbury. It was established on 1 October 1956 as an associated company of Union Acceptances Ltd.
Union Acceptances Ltd was established in 1955 by Anglo American Coporation of South Africa Ltd in conjunction with Lazard Brothers & Co Ltd and Barclays Bank (D.C.O.) to carry on the business and functions of a merchant bank and to assist in the development of a money market in South Africa.
