Rhodesia Philately: 1970 Inauguration of the Posts & Telecommunications Corporation – 3½c International Airport

The contrasting stamp illustrates the loading of mails at Salisbury’s international airport. This airport, with one of the longest runways in the world, can accommodate any of the great modern aircraft now in service. Extensive use is made of the facilities available for the conveyance of mails by air to, from and within Rhodesia.
