Peter Falk was a florist and nurseryman located on Fifth Street and Moffat Avenue, Gwelo.
Falk immigrated from Baden, Germany to Pietersburg, South Africa, in 1892 with his wife Agnes. In 1894 he moved to Gwelo where he began trading as a general dealer and surveyor. In 1896 he served in the Rhodesian Volunteers as a Burgher of the Gwelo Burghers Corps. He was considered a Rhodesian Pioneer.
On 14 February 1906 he became manager of the Anglo-African Trading Co. Ltd.
He was an active and well-known philatelist.
