Zambia Philately: 1973 Centenary of the Death of Dr. Livingstone (1813-1973) – 3n “Dr Livingstone, I Presume…”

“Dr. Livingstone, I presume” is a famous greeting of Henry Morton Stanley upon locating David Livingstone on the shores of Lake Tanganyika in November 1871. Stanley was a Welsh-American journalist and explorer and was on an expedition to locate explorer and missionary David Livingstone, who had been missing in Africa for more than four years.
