Zambia Philately: 1975 3rd Definitive Issue – 5n Knife Edge Bridge (Victoria Falls – Mosi-Oa-Tunya)

The Knife Edge Bridge (originally referred to as the Knife-Edge Suspension Bridge) was officially opened in November 1969. It was designed to give tourists a once-in-a-lifetime view of Victoria Falls. The bridge is located on the eastern cataract of Victoria Falls and looks upon the main gorge.

Those crossing the bridge can be prepared to get soaking wet if they visit the falls at the end of the rainy season.
