The Kafue lechwe or Kafue Flats lechwe (Kobus leche kafuensis) is a subspecies of the southern lechwe. It is endemic to the Kafue Flats, Zambia.
Lechwes are sizeable, long-horned (males only) antelopes with a sturdy build. They are unusual in having widely splayed, elongated hooves that support them on soft ground. They inhabit floodplains bordering marshes and swamps of the southern savanna.
