The Royal Elizabeth Hotel was located at the bottom of Elizabeth Avenue, off Bay Street, in Nassau. Completed in early 1954, it was decorated in a British Colonial style, providing 41 rooms with bath facilities, a coffee shop (serving breakfast), a cocktail bar, and a private swimming pool with sun deck and terrace.
