Found along the east coastal regions of Australia, Rainbow Lorikeets are nomadic and are often seen travelling in flocks in search of flowering trees. The birds ar also extremely noisy and the sound of their screeching and rapid wing-beat attracts attention. In Queensland they are nicknamed ‘Bluey’.
