The Eastwood post office was located on Osmond Road. It was opened by Jack Leay at 11 a.m. on 11 November 1952. Originally named Parkside and replacing older buildings, it was later changed to Eastside in 1967. 1978 1979 Eastwood became a Limited Philatelic Sales Centre on 26 January 1979.
