Bahamas Philately: Grand Bahama Hotel and Country Club (A Jack Tar Resort)

By 1962, Grand Bahama Hotel (A Jack Tar Resort) became known as the Grand Bahama Hotel and Country Club  (A Jack Tar Resort).  In 1967 the marina was expanded and the hotel held 535 rooms for accommodation.

  1. I remember it well, as I was a photographer for GBH. Met, and photographed lots of fascinating people.
    At my time Ronny Prophet was entertaining at the Union Jack Club, and the Living Dolls in the ballroom.
    Miss everything about my time there. Now living in the Yukon, what a difference.
