In 1960 the Nassau Beach Lodge changed its name to the Nassau Beach Hotel. By this time it offered experiences such as the Out Island Bar, The Rum Keg, Goombay Bar, Lamplighter Room and Wine Cellar.
In 1965, The Beatles were filmed swimming fully-clothed in the pool at the Nassau Beach Hotel for their second feature film, Help!
In 1970, Trusthouses Forte Hotels purchased the property.
