In the 1960’s, the Nassau Beach Lodge changed its name to the Nassau Beach Hotel. In 1965, The Beatles were filmed swimming fully-clothed in the pool at the Nassau Beach Hotel for their second feature film, Help!
In 1970, Trusthouses Forte Hotels purchased the property.
