Bahamas Philately: Post Office – George Town

George Town was a District Post Office located on Great Exuma, Exuma.

Date Stamps

Luddington & Raymond advise this Type 7 III was reissued in 1961. This appears to be noticeable in the date block which is far bolder than the surrounding date stamp. Proud combines both the original Type 7 III and 7 III reissue as D6.
