Romora Bay Club was located on Harbour Island, south of Dunmore Town. The club was owned and managed by Roy and Moyra Schmidt and opened between 1970-71. The Schmidts were divers and members of the Underwater Explorers Society in Freeport, Bahamas.
The club consisted of a main house (once a private residence) with 11 rooms and three additional cottages that overlooked a small cove. It had its own small dock, private beach and provided facilities for tennis and scuba diving. It also had a fleet of nine boats.
