Bahamas Philately: The Beach Inn

The Beach Inn was a 100 room inn located on Paradise Island and opened in early 1968. It was the first moderately priced hotel in Nassau to be built on Paradise Beach and was managed and owned by Resorts International Inc.

Only minutes across the Paradise Island bridge from bustling Bay Street in downtown Nassau…this charming resort of traditional Bahamian Architecture is located directly on world famous Paradise Beach with its miles of powder white sand and sparking clear water. You may stroll down the shaded lane of tropical Casuarina trees to the Beach Inn and enjoy all the “fun and sun” activities of this resort in paradise.”

Visitors could enjoy indoor and outdoor dining, and entertainment at the Beach Pavilion plus many daytime activities such as scuba diving, water skiing and swimming.
