Malawi Philately: 1964 Definitive Series – 4d Fishing

The 4d stamp was created from various pictures, both black & white and coloured, of lake fishermen and dug-outs. These were of typical scenes on Lake Malawi where traditional fishermen use hollow tree-trunk canoes and small types of seine and gill nets.

The two Kodachrome 35mm images below are:
