The puku (Kobus vardonii) is a medium-sized antelope found in wet grasslands. The puku is sandy brown in colour, with the underbelly a slightly lighter brown.
Adenota is an alternative genus or sub-genus within the Reduncinae sub-family of family Bovidae, composed of the species Kobus kob (Kob) and Kobus vardonii (Puku).
