The Malawi Arts & Crafts Centre was located in Glyn Jones Street, Blantyre. It was constituted in June 1971, and started operations on 21 July 1971.
The centre provided a new stimulus for local artists and craftsmen. The shop retailed a number of miscellaneous craft articles of wood, ivory, bead, straw, skins etc.
