Katrin Raynor-Evans, our special guest from South Wales, UK, collects astronomy and space-themed stamps and covers. She has written on the subject for APS, the Royal Astronomical Society, Stamp Magazine, Astronomy, BBC Sky at Night, and has a regular column in Orbit, the magazine of the Astro Space Stamp Society. She is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and Royal Geographical Society. Her presentation on the theme of astronomy and space spans comets to space shuttles and shows how these special events have been commemorated through philately.
