The Shell Company of Rhodesia Ltd (incorporated in England) was located in Bulawayo. The company was registered on 21 August 1928 to carry on the business of distributors for petroleum and oil products. The company supplied oil for the South African air routes for Imperial Airways and later, Rhodesia & Nyasaland Airways (RANA).
